Orbital Tumors Reston

ORBITAL TUMORS:

Tumors of the orbit can be either benign or malignant. To determine the nature of the tumor, a careful examination is needed by one of our trained oculofacial plastic surgeons. In addition, imaging may be necessary to further evaluate the tumor/lesion.

Depending on the type of lesion, the lesion/tumor may be monitored or removed. At times, if the nature of the lesion cannot be determine by a clinical evaluation and/or imaging, a biopsy may be necessary.
