BOTULINUM TOXIN

The most common drug form for cosmetic injections, Botox is one of the most famous botulinum toxin products.

A neuromodulator with many useful applications, Botulinum Toxin is most commonly used to treat the formation of fine lines and wrinkles on the face.

FDA APPROVAL

The Food and Drug Administration approves certain products as effective and safe after extensive clinical trials are submitted and evaluated.

NUMBING AGENT

An anesthetic that is often added to products to relieve any potential for pain during an injectable treatment.

BOARD CERTIFICATION

This verifies that your injector has graduated medical school and that he or she has a license to practice medicine.

FILLER

A product which can be injected beneath the skin in order to promote a change in appearance.

INJECTABLES

HYALURONIC ACID

Most fillers are made from hyaluronic acid. It is naturally occurring in the skin, and adds volume beneath the skin where injected.

HYALURONIDASE

This can break down hyaluronic acid in mere hours if you are unhappy with your filler treatment, or have had a reaction to the filler.
