About Oculo-Facial Plastic Consultants
Currently, I am Section Chief of Ophthalmology at Reston Hospital Center, and associate professor at George Washington University. I am double board-certified—by the American Board of Ophthalmology (FAAO), and in facial cosmetic surgery by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery (FABCS). I see patients at my practice in Reston, and at Capital Eye Consultants in Fairfax. I graduated from the Howard University School of Medicine in Washington DC, where I was chief resident of ophthalmology, and completed my training for ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Maryland.
I have performed many, many eyelid surgeries, cosmetic as well as medically necessary ones. This includes upper blepharoplasties to improve peripheral vision issues, and rejuvenate the area for a refreshed and rested appearance—to correcting eyelid anomalies and repairing orbital bone fractures and tissue damage from trauma.
Because of my education and more than a decade of experience, I’ve become known as a surgical eye expert in northern Virginia and DC. I am honored to say that other physicians trust me with both their own eye surgeries and those of their patients.
